That's why there's so much violence in the world.

Yea I'm a stickler when it comes to manners. I really despise rude people and in the end all a spammer or troll is, is a rude person. I guess I'm odd that way, but I am quite a bit older than most on the site and I was raised in the old school fashion. Meaning you are respectful to your elders and you treat others in the fashion you wish to be treated in and be considerate of others feelings. Too bad so many don't seem to have the appropriate "home schooling" that they should.... I second that. Why treat someone like crap if you don't want to be treated that way? Does it make you cool? No, it only makes you look like an ass. Some people may act like they respect you, but they'll talk about you behind your back. And about spammers, whats the point? Really, 99.9% of the time, spamming will get you banned, so why even do it? What could you possibly get out of it? And about going off topic on a forum for no reason, why not just reply to the topic, then make a small side note? Such as; Oh, by the way I'm thinking such and such, I think I'll post a forum, come check it out. So long as it's a side note, and they managed to stay on topic for the most part, I can respect that. But for example, if you all remember Sammy, she was just utterly rediculious. As were her posts, nothing had to do with the topic.

But for example, if you all remember Sammy, she was just utterly rediculious. As were her posts, nothing had to do with the topic. I agree with you. I am pretty lenient about going off topic in threads. Many times a conversation naturally moves on to another topic as the natural course of things. In fact, I'm pretty lenient on most things, except when it comes to giving respect. I will always nip disrespect in the bud when I see it. I have absolutely no tolerance for it at all. Instead, I choose to pick my battles. Like the saying goes, "Don't sweat the small stuff." And I don't. If it's a minor infraction like going off topic or spamming (as long as it's not a continual problem) can usually be handled with a simple warning, but disrespect someone and I'll come down on you like a ton of bricks...

That's what I like about this Site. Rules to enforce it and most members here follow them. Comfortable to be in and nothing too uptight and you make quite a few friends here. Though I haven't seen any spammers since I've been here so that's probably why I'm saying it

There was one a while back called Sammie...goodness she was terrible. She was looking for a date and kept posting her email. She couldn't even type right.

Yarg. That must have been pretty bad. This is like the 3rd time you mentioned her so it must have been bad.

She was an annoyance that is for sure. I simply deleted her posts and gave her a few warnings. When it became clear she was refusing to quit, I banned her. When she re-registered I banned her again, and will continue to ban her if she should ever re-register again. At least she wasn't very bright, she used the same exact email to sign up each time... Not to mention her IP address was the same.... Some folks just aren't to bright....

Even a half-minded person would be smarter than that. I'm living proof.

I agree with Tvirus, quit putting yourself down. You are right about it being a good thing, it sure made it very easy to spot her re-registering....
