Interesting. Okay, go ahead and make Kincaid unaware of TRAT, but I'll make TRAT aware of who Kincaid is (but not deliberately associated with him). Does that sound fair to you?

Well, Spartan, since you do have a TRAT team and James and Layton have met up, maybe an Army General and (what was your rank again?) could get their radio's working again. Now I have to think of something.. Genova's a captain. Right now, I've given the "can't get a signal" excuse with a communications blackout theory (which wouldn't be all that far-fetched). Right now TRAT is still tied up in the college (I'm writing my post up in notepad, then I'll paste it) with a full team, two survivors, and a coming monster attack. I'll meet up with you guys a bit later, but I'm thinking of doing it at the PD unless that location has already been sweeped. We should keep planning our routes, that way we can plan accordingly for the meeting.

I'm in the middle of rewriting my post, but I'm dead tired right now, so I'll save it to notepad and finish it tomorrow.
Horrifying nightmares, everybody.

Well... it was pretty pitifully written actually. I'm with Ryan here, I must be off today. Or just not yet used to "co-writing" yet.

Argh! The D**n web page expired and wiped my entire monster attack out!

Yeah, I'm actually at a loss of what to do with him already. I'll probably just kill him off in the subsequent monster attack and keep the yet-unnamed college coed on as the protectorate. But I still think it's too early for the introduction of "boss" monsters yet.
I'm also playing along with the malfunctioning radio thing that Leon put in his character post. I suggest us all having minor wireless communication problems. Internet and telephone landlines can work, though (where locatable, I mean).

I'm feeling Lickers myself. You've already gotten Leechy (hence, I don't wanna just copy you), and something like Hunters, a Tyrant, or even Nemesis is a bit much this early on.

Ryan's introduction of a Leechman gave me an idea: We should all trigger attacks by strong creatures like Leechmen or Lickers at the same time. It'd have a really dramatic effect.
Also, I do think we should all meet up along the way (but not all at the same time... that would be way too coincidental to be a random happening).
TRAT Delta-One is busy at the college dealing with survivors, so they'll (or however many of them are left) have to wait a bit before arriving.

Don't know. I delete them after I've read them unless there's something in them (like an image or something) I want to keep.

Okay, currently TRAT team Delta-One is searching Raccoon College for survivors.
Um... if the inclusion of a STARS member there doesn't fit the vibe, let me know and I'll change him to SWAT or something.
Oh, and sorry I'm putting so many posts so close together. It seems like everytime I hit the "post" button, I think of something else relevant to put here.

They're just supporting characters, nothing else but their roles on the TRAT team is described.
Leon, can you explain Army Group X to me? Is it a department in the US military or an independent organization?
I'm only wondering because if he's a US military officer of such high rank, he may or may not have knowledge of or even association with the TRAT organization, which is a US Army special forces unit.

The Pavehawk came in swiftly and slowed to a hover, followed by a pair of long, thick ropes pushed outside the cabin. TRAT Delta-Zero fast-roped from the helicopter to the closed-in roof of the main campus building, forming a perimeter while the bird discarded the ropes and left them alone.
"I'm on point. Move out." Nova said, jogging toward the roof access door on the northeast corner of the roof.
Sarkis, the SAW gunner and XO, held the rear as they moved.
"Stack up and prepare for entry." Nova told them, hugging the wall as they reached their destination. She herself took the right side, while the others lined up on the left side of the door. She kept her eyes on them as they each gave her a thumbs up. And with a quick nod of her head, she stepped out and kicked the door in.
Team medic Tilger entered the dark stairwell first, Nova second, and Natchios and Sarkis last.
Nova switched on the light fastened to her weapon. "I'll take point again. Stick to my six, and watch your goddamn footing." she told them, and started down the stairs.
Moving one flight down, they entered into the empty second floor hallway before holding up.
"Four way security. I'm on point. Sarkis, you protect my ass. Move." Nova told her team.
"Where are the packages?" Natchios asked, stowing his scoped M14 for his Mark 23 sidearm, which had a tactical light on it.
Nova shook her head. "We'll clear this place room by room. You all know the drill. Now move!" she told them, and led on. They didn't get ten steps, though, before hearing a woman's scream at the end of the hallway, followed by a gunshot. The captain instinctively held up a clenched fist, then pointed two fingers forward.
They all rushed forward, two by two on both sides of the hallway, until they reached a door marked "Chemistry 101", where a second scream followed a lound crash.
Stacking up on each side of the door as the confrontation behind it continued to play out, Sarkis gave it a hard kick, splintering the frame and knocking it open.
Nova pressed forward into the room to find a young woman cowering in the corner, and one of those creatures---everyone called them 'zombies'---with what looked like a cop pinned to the floor, violently chomping and clawing at him. She discharged a single 5.56mm hollowpoint from her M4, nailing the back of the creature's head as her guys spread out along the inner wall behind her.
The cop threw the zombie off him, his jaw dropping in disbelief at Delta-One's arrival. He was clad in tactical gear with a tactical vest and the STARS logo on his shoulder. "Holy S**t, am I glad to see you guys!" he exclaimed, sitting up as he glanced around.
"Clear!" Sarkis and the others all called out one after the other.
"Surrender your weapons to my men, sir." Nova told the STARS officer, who frowned at her.
"Relax, I'm on your side." the STARS officer replied, reaching beneath a nearby desk.
Sarkis quickly saw the black and gold STARS issue Beretta lying there, and stepped forward with his M249 SPW aimed at him. "Don't even think about it." he warned, kneeling down and grabbing the pistol from his hand.
The STARS officer looked back and forth. "I'm a member of STARS!" he exclaimed.
"Sir, I know perfectly well who and what you are. But you will surrender each and every weapon you have to my men." Nova replied.
"Skipper..." Natchios spoke up.
Nova glanced over her shoulder. Her sniper now held a fixed-stock MP5 in his hand. "Search and restrain them both. We move in five." she told her guys.
"Restrain?! I'm a cop, for F**k's sake!" the STARS officer exclaimed as he was pulled to his feet.
Nova lowered her weapon. "I don't care, sir. No one but my team carries weapons." she told him.
"Miss, please." Natchios said as he gently pulled the young woman from the nearby corner.
"I want intel from you. The number of survivors, where they are, and how many weapons they have. And I want it now." Nova told the cop.
The STARS officer grumbled bitterly.

I'm placing an insignificant STARS member at the college with the survivors.
Argh! Sorry that recent entry of mine is a bit shoddy. I haven't written an urban infiltration in quite a while (been sticking with jungle settings).
And if anyone wishes to discuss character-to-character interactions with Genova Lake, we'll do it here.

Genova Lake updated: Team member names added to Allies (mainly so I can keep them straight).

If you mean my character, thanks. Unfortunately, my Archives book is falling apart. Pages left and right are loose and falling out. I'm trying to find a new one.
