The two soldiers approached the vehicle cautiously as it came to a stop on the pavement out front of the campus building, weapons at the ready. Nova covered the driver, while Sarkis the passenger.
"Hands where I can see them!" Nova instructed, flipping the selector on her M4 to semi.
"Identify yourselves!" Sarkis said to the guy in the passenger seat.

It's an ALTERNATE UNIVERSE... Or Time LineThat didn't dawn on me. My bad. DOUBLE POST O NOES! @spartan- I could have James and Kincaid come pick you and toyr teammate up, then we all drive down to the Police Station and meet Layton. Okay, that works. I'm down to just my character and supporting character now, so things are vastly simpler now.

I RP with myself all the time. lol.
What's the date of our RP? It seems like it's playing out before RE2, but Robert Kendo being dead kind of creates a paradox.
Maybe we should avoid the police station, that way we don't interfere with the events of RE2. Such as two members of a heavily armed special forces team busting in with their weapons aimed at Claire's or Leon's (the game Leon, I mean) head, for example. Or unless I'm missing something and it's taking place during the second half of RE3, in which I should go back and write in the hospital and clock tower being wrecked. Ryan, what do you think?
Anyway, on a less confusing note, I'm actually starting to dig this RP thing and might make it a common activity.

"What the hell-- ?" Captain Lake mumbled as she slowly regained consciousness, finding herself half buried in the rubble. A voice echoed in her ear, but she couldn't quite make the words out. Her ears still rang from the blast, and her head was throbbing.
"Come on, girl, stay with me." Sarkis' voice echoed as he pulled her from the debris and dragged her away from it, laying her in the grass some distance back. They found themselves in a park or something situated behind the campus building. His captain had a gash on her forehead, but aside from that looked uninjured.
"I'm all right, just check on the others." Nova told him as her vision finally cleared up.
Sarkis shook his head, hesitant to speak. "It's just us now." he told her.
Nova gulped as her heart literally skipped a beat. Half of her team gone, just like that?
"We should move. Every creature in the city probably heard that blast." Sarkis said, helping her to her feet. "Can you stand?" he asked.
Nova nodded her head. "Yeah. It'll take more than a few busted ribs to get me down. Remember Somalia?" she answered with a smirk, and gave her M4 a quick look-over.
"Yeah, I remember. I'll get what's left of the gear." Sarkis replied, and went to do so.
A low sob escaped Nova's lips, but she quickly stifled it as she removed the dented magazine from her carbine and replaced it with a fresh one taken from her vest. Now wasn't the time for tears. They still had to survive this. "How's your weapon?" she asked.
Sarkis glanced back at her, holding his M249 up to see. "Radio's fucked, though. Fortunately the medkit's intact, and we still have one LAW." he answered, referring to their only remaining Light Armor Weapon.
"We'll need it." Nova replied, and limped toward him on a slightly tweaked knee. It wouldn't be a problem. "We need to find a working radio." she said.
"Yeah, I know." Sarkis replied, pulling on the backpack that carried their medical supplies. "Our best bet would be the police station." he suggested.
"We'll need a vehicle, then." Nova told him.

Okay, since Kincaid seems to be on his way to the college (and I've killed off all but Genova and one of her team members), I suppose the stage is set for the big meeting. I'm just working on getting my post typed up.

Kincaid is in the US Army, so that won't be necessary.

Sorry about to abrupt meeting, but when you hear and explosion, there's undead around, and you have Nemesis chasing you, there isn't a lot of time to talk. Don't worry, just keep one step ahead of him until TRAT shows up. ... we have the anti-tank weaponry. ;D

He didn't turn out the way I intended. lol. Oh, well. Full version of that post up now.
Anyway, request that someone nearby my location write in that they heard an explosion in the eastern portion of the city.

I'll be adding more to my recent post, but just put that as a placeholder. Found a good, random way to kill off that useless cop.

"It's no use, boss. I'm not getting a signal." Sarkis reported after messing around with their outgoing radio. The signal appeared not to be going through. Which was strange, because everything was working fine before they'd entered the city.
"Okay, F**k it. We'll keep moving until we get one." Nova replied.
"I wouldn't be surprised if the army's got a comms blackout on this place." Natchios said.
Nova shook her head. It's not something she'd put past them.
"What's your brilliant plan now, Your Highness?" the cop, his hands secured behind his back with flexcuffs, said sarcastically.
"Plan is you shut the F**k up or I shoot you." Nova growled. In truth, she didnt exactly have one at the moment. Her training never encompassed fighting reanimated corpses, after all.
They were suddenly interupted by a loud crash at the opposite end of the hallway, where they had entered from the stairwell. A crash that sounded like a door being bashed in.
Nova and Natchios, closest to the exit, each shouldered their weapons and trained them in that direction. "You see anything?" the captain asked, squinting in the darkness to try and see through it. What a day to actually forget their night vision gear.
"I can't see S**t." Natchios replied, clicking off the safety of his pistol.
"I'll lead off, you follow. Sark, Til, stay with the packages." Nova instructed, switching her weapon light back on as she led through the doorway, with her marksman following.
"Oh, great. Now I'm a package." The cop said, rolling his eyes. He felt a sharp, sudden pain in his side as he was struck with the stock of Sarkis' SAW and collapsed.
"Oops, sorry." Sarkis said sarcastically.
Sweeping her beam across the end of the hallway, Nova caught a brief glint of light, followed by a low growl. But before she could react, something leapt at them. "Fire!" she exclaimed, discharching a three-round burst in the direction the sound had come from. An immidiate yelp and a thud among the ringing of empty cases hitting the floor signified a hit.
Natchios shined his weapon light around, finding a large dog laying on the floor some feet ahead of them. "It's a dog." he said.
Nova frowned. "I can see that, staff sergeant." she replied.
They were interupted by even more growling, this time far more menacing, coming from the darkness.
Nova nodded at her marksman. "Fall back. Defend the door." she whispered, and took a soft step forward. "And I'd use that HK if I were you." she added.
Natchios nodded, quickly but quietly moving back inside the classroom.
Nova moved forward, stepping quietly as she swept her aim from side to side. The growling seemed to be coming from all around her, but she couldn't see anything. Feeling a tap on her shoulder, she glanced back to see Natchios had crept up on her.
"Fire escape." he said, urging her back.
Nova shook her head. "Okay, move." she replied, slowly backing toward the classroom. Once inside, they all moved toward the nearby window facing out behind the campus. "Sark, the door." she said, as Tilger climbed through the window out onto the fire escape.
Her XO stowed his SAW and removed a small black box from a pocket on his vest. A mine, triggered by tripwire, which he fastened to the doorframe, then tied off to the knob. "Anything that comes through this door will get fried." he said, and quickly followed.
Once all out on the fire escape, they started down. Unexpectedly, however, there was a thunderous explosion beneath them, and the whole building shuddered, the fire escape shifting and shuddering with it. The sounds of bolts snapping and breaking, and screeching sound of bending metal followed the explosion. The fire escape easily gave way and began to collapse before anyone could react.

Genova Lake updated!
In the course of events, I inadvertantly made her a bit of a loner without realizing it, so I've added that trait to her Cons section.
