Good luck with the hunt. Jobs are so few and far between. Unless something changes, I fear we are going to face another depression the likes of which have never been seen.

Finsihed one essay yesterday Yay. One to go. I had to pop out to the supermarket this morning and decided that whilst I was out I would look for some TOY guns to go with my Lara Croft Halloween get-up!I found some in the pound shop so it only cost me 2 pounds.. but they were in an FBI set so I got like mini handcuffs and knives and stuff.. which at the moment I dont think toy knives are the best thing to be selling to kids with the whole knife crime thing we got going here in the UK. Anyhow.. the guns are black which is near enough grey! And have little orange markers on so everyone knows they are fake. It was either that or a cowboy gun or a shotgun and I figured it would be better to get two black ones. Im happy enough.. just need holsters now. Of course...there is now this whole argument that toy guns are bad for kids.. well Im sorry but I played with toy guns when I was a kid - I know plenty of people who did. It should be each parents decision over whether to let their child play with a toy or whatever but I see no problem with it. For me, if I haev children I will let them play with toy guns etc.. but I will explain to them that a real gun is dangerous etc .. and teach them to have a sort of respect for the dangers that a real one can do.If they want to play James Bond or whatever then thats fine.. but teach them the respect and fear they should have for real weapons.Total rant there.. I had some woman giving em evils in the shop for buying toy guns.. I was like.. Im 21 years old , its Halloween soon why do you think Im buying these?

Congratulations on the essay!!! My kids played with toy guns also. They are straight A students and always have been. My oldest is going to be 18 soon and graduating this year. It hasn't seemed to harm them any. The problems arise when the parents aren't parents.

^ I agree with you. Let kids be kids I say... theres a little too much health and safety about these days I think... I dislike feeling as though Im wrapped in cotton wool all the time. Let me hurt myself every once in a while On a side note - I just turned down the offer to go out... I hate essays. They make me so antisocial.

Aww... but think of it, the reward is most likely going to be well worth it. I agree to. I use to joke with my kids and say if it's not broke and not bleeding you'll live.
