Resident Evil: The Zombie Traitor

[Ashe]

Serena jumps into the helicopter, and looks at the controls. A smile appearing on her face, she can fly this thing. Thank God I took those lessons a few years back. She thinks to herself. She quickly gets the helicopter going and Mike and Ryan jump in. Mike takes the back seat and Ryan sits in the co-pilots seat and puts on the spare earphones.

"Where do we go?" Mike asks as Serena quickly gets the helicopter off the ground and into the air.

"Well, I think we should fly in the opposite direction of my estate. Umbrella is unaware of me and my estate and I'd like to keep it that way for as long as possible. We can then make our way back to my estate. There is plenty of room, and it is secure as I mentioned earlier. Plus I have an array of weapons that will come in handy judging by what we saw on our way out. My father was an avid weapons collector." She says. "Unless either of you have a better plan that is." She adds smiling kindly.

Ryan and Mike agree that going to Serena's estate makes the most sense because its safe and Umbrella does not know of its where abouts.

When the group finally arrive near Serena's place she lands the helicopter a bit away from her estate in case Umbrella might track them down.
The group eventually arrive at the place and everybody gets themselves something to eat and drink and then they treat any wounds that they have.
After a while Ryan and Serena see it best they should let Mike to rest for a while so that they can discuss their current situation.
" Ryan I think we should examine Mike to find out whats been done to him before any further damage can be done. "
" You're right. We should probably do it now while he is sleeping so that we can get it all done swiftly."
Ryan and Serena have both had medical experience in the past and Ryan had been a doctor at one point in his life.
Luckily Serena has a lot of useful medical equipment at her place so they hook Mike up to some of the machines and then they start on getting Mike fixed.
Ryan suggests that they should scan him to see if his internal organs were affected at all by the thing that seems to be slowly deteorating Mike's condition.
Serena does so and starts to scan Mikes body.
At first glance everything looks in order until they both spot some peculiar.

Both of them are shocked at what they see next and really hope they have made a mistake beacause the thing they believed they spotted before and can see right now looks just like a LAS PLAGAS.

Ryan and Serena exchange horrified looks as they confirm the thing in Mikes system is in fact a Plagas and a mean looking one at that. The creature suddenly begins acting up Micheal stands up causing Ryan and Serena to back up carefully staring deep at Micheals glowing red eyes. For minutes Micheal stared at both of his allies in front of him before transforming into hunter form again he knocked Ryan against the wall and crashed Serena against the floor he walks to the door and slices it down he turns and sees his allies on the floor. "Stay out of my way.." He jumps out the door and through several more walls before dissapearing entirely out of the building he is moving faster then even the helicopter managed

Ryan gets up from off the floor and helps Serena up to. " We have got to stop him Ryan before he can cause anymore damage to himself or other innocent people. "
" You're right Serena but how are we going to track him down and bring him under control ? "
The two decide they should just go out now and look for him where ever they think is the most logical route he must have took.
Ryan and Serena have just arrived at an abandoned building. The two decide to fan out so that they can cover more ground.
Serena calls Ryan over to see a scene of pure carnage, bloodlust and destruction.
Blood is everywhere and body limbs from various creatures are scattered around. Sound of footsteps makes the two turn around to see a group of hunters and zombies and other beasts.
Ryan and Serena are fighting them off as best as they can. Mike comes unto the scene the look on both of Ryan and Serena's faces tells him they need his help. Mike is in indecision of whether to save Ryan and Serena orwill he join the other beasts for a feast

Serena sees Mike out of the corner of her eye. "Ryan, there he is. Lets finish this horde quickly and get him."

Both Ryan and Serena begin to put the creatures down one by one, with well placed shots to the head. "At least they still drop with head shots." Serena mutters.

Mike the whole time just standing on the sidelines watching, as if he is trying to make up his mind about something. The mass of creatures is quickly disposed of, and only a few were the new Las Plagas varieties, which they made sure once the creature was down to kill the vile entities.

"Well that is one problem dealt with." Serena says. "What are we going to do with our other little problem? We need to get through to him some way. Do you have any ideas on how to do so?" She asks Ryan.

Mike stands there unmoving his eyes wander back and forth between Serena and Ryan. He had been watching them the whole time and had not actually watched the monsters being killed he looks at one of the Plagas variety Zombies, he takes a couple steps back with a worried look on his face he then jumps clean off the building and retreats as fast as possible
"Great he thinks we want to kill him now..." Ryan said slightly annoyed Mike got away again.
"Dont worry Ryan im sure we can catch up to him...eventually if we could just get through to him..." Serena said with small distress in her voice.

Ryan and Serena go out to look for Mike again. The two don't get to far before they find Mike again down a alley way.
Mike see's them and is about to leave again but with a shout Ryan is able to stop Mike before he can leave.
" Mike you have got to stop this. We only want to help you. We are not hear to hurt you."
" I already know that thats not what im afraid of. "
" What is it then ? " replies Serena. " Is it about before when you knocked me and Ryan over ?
Are you scared that you wont be able to contol yourself and that you might hurt us again ?
You dont have to worry me and Ryan will be ok, what we need to do is go back to the facility to get the las plagas out of you, unless you would rather keep on running ? "

Serena leaves the question hanging waiting for a replie back from Mike.

"Your not mad?" Mike asked it was obvious he was in control again. "Of course not it wasn't YOU it was that Damned Plagas" Serena said comfortingly "F...Fine i'll come along" Mike said he obediantly stepped foreword and followed them away

The group think it best to go now in the cover of darkness.

Before the group can move anymore they stop to see Ryan unmoving.
" What are you doing we need to get this out of Mike ASAP. "
" I know Serena but have you guys seen the odds we are facing by going into that facility.
The guards could easily take us out by sheer numbers. What we need is more recruits and unless you guys can convince me other wise I am not moving. "

[Ashe]

"That is why our small group is best. We have a better chance of sneaking in and doing what needs to be done, and getting back out." Serena says calmly. "I say we head back to the estate, do some planning, and weapon up then go as soon as possible. We don't know exactly what they have done to Mike, and sure he seems in control now, but for how long? Do you really want to take that risk? Plus where do you expect to get these extra people? If you haven't noticed Raccoon City isn't exactly Grand Central Station any longer." She adds looking towards Ryan.

"She has a good point and if you dont want to come i have no problem leaving BOTH you behind any way" Mike was trying to sound tough but both Serena and Ryan could tell he just didnt want anyone getting hurt "So if the two of you want to go back to the estate fine i can handle those stupid soldiers on my own anyway!" Mike turned his back trying to make himself look even tougher. Serena and Ryan completely aware of Mikes scheme try as hard as they can not to laugh at the obvious attempts on Micheals part to look strong
"Your not going anywhere without us Mike..." Serena said with a tone that easily thrashed Mikes attempts to look intimidating. "She's right you may be used to working alone but we are allies now." Ryan's words sent Mike for a loop other then Ada no one ever showed even small signs of friendship or compassion to him before. "I guess you're right besides if i went berserk again no one would be able to stop me..." Mike and Serena agreed it would be best to move on for now they waited to see if Ryan was coming along as well.

" Ok. " Ryan agrees to go with Mike and Serena as the points they made were really good and besides he was putting Mike's life in jeoporady by staying there.

The group set off back to the facility in search for the thing that might save Mike"s life .

Mike, Ryan and Serena walk down the deserted street, alert for an attack. "I think we better get off this street. Something isn't right. It's too deserted." Serena says.

"You're right. Where did all the creatures go?" Ryan aks.

Just then a huge monstrosity appears at the end of the street. "Quick in here before it sees us." Mike says leading them into an apartment building. The smell inside is overwhelming.

"Do you think it saw us?" Questions Serena.

"Let's not stick around to find out. There has to be a back exit somewhere. Lets find it." Mike says.

Mike is leading everyone through the building with AMAZING accuracy dodging every dead end hallway through the surprisingly large apartment
"Mike how do you know so much about this house? Serena asked

"Because he used to live here..." A mysterious voice echoed Micheal froze solid with a HORRIFIED look on his face. The group turned to see the shrouded figure that attacked before Micheal was infected with the plagas

"Why him? Why NOW?!" Mike said with a distinctly scared look in his face

The Man stepped foreword

"WHO ARE YOU?" Ryan said aiming a gun at the mans head

"Alexander... Alexander Safra" The man said with a amused look

"But...that's Mikes-" Ryan said only to be cut off by Mike himself

"Last name... yeah i know... That's my dad..." Mike said with a distincly scared voice

"Long time no see SON" The man said he snapped and Micheal transformed suddenly into Hunter form it was PAINFULLY obvious that he was fighting for control

"The Plagas is just insurance i have control over both Zombies and Plagas he is lucky to have the little control he does i have been leading you here all this time so i could make sure my giant friend took care of you" Alexander snaps again the giant behemoth slammed into the building and began attacking "I hate to leave you but i must HAVE FUUUUN!" Alexander said as he jumped away

[Ashe]

"Mike, come on now, get a grip. That thing we saw outside is going to be here in no time and we need your help." Serena says as calmly as she can. She looks around to see where they are at. "If we stay here, we are sitting ducks."

"Well if we can't maneuver neither can it. It's much larger than we are, maybe we could open up fire on it and then make a run for it." Ryan says.

"That sounds like a plan to me." Serena says, pulling her weapons and preparing for a fight and says a silent prayer that Mike will be able to keep control.
