Okay confusion!
Im slightly uncertain as to what cooking has to do with gold but whatever. And I can cook - surprisingly for a student perhaps! Ha ha.
Far as Im concerned the day that gold becomes mass produced is the day we all become greedy - dissatisfied people.

And the value of said gold will be worthless.

Does human greed ever cease to surprise you?

Jmann is right. If gold were that plentiful and easily made, it would be completely worthless. That's supply and demand.

No it won't stop them from trying. They've been trying since gold was discovered. And the greed of humans doesn't surprise me. Today's society seems to be mostly all about me, me me... People want what they can't have.
And Jmann is right. It would make gold to plentiful and then it would lose all value.

I agree with JMann. And also with the "people want what they cant have" sentiment. Lord knows Im guilty of it myself sometimes.

Well in a sense we all are. Its just a matter of "degree" or what you've done if you catch my drift...
