Nice post, Ryan. "Sienna"...reference to RE: Apocalypse?
Anyhow, I guess it's my turn. I've been the victim of a violent assault, and the culprit's name is Writer's Block, but I'll see what I can put together...
Exactly
I'm afraid my writing skills are not as good when I RP. lol
I'm usually going through it so quick that I don't even go back to recheck and edit.
Highlight of my day - well I wrote about 2500 words of my dissertation ... so I'm quite proud now up to about 5000 of the 15-20thousand word limit. Yay.
Not looking forward to tomorrow however.. not for any reason other than I'm gonna have to get up mega early to clean the darn flat. I need to start work between 9.30am and 10am.. to get as much writing done as possible so Im gonna have to be up for around half past 8 in the morning to get the kitchen/hallway and my bedroom cleaned. Honestly.. if I don't do it it won't get done. My mum reckons I should leave it and wait for one of them to do it but she doesn't realise that they simply will not do it so I have no choice. Oven cleaning should be fun as the hob is currently black Not impressed. Does nobody teach their children basic cleaning skills these days? Moan over ;D
James could only feel regret for not getting to the driver's seat before Layton did.
His partner was the craziest driver James had ever seen and had gotten them into accidents more then once on patrol.
"Watch out!" James yelled as Layton quickly swirved nearly missing a flipped over truck.
"I've got this man!" Layton replied, obviously annoyed by his partner's constant warnings.
James finally decided to relax checking his handgun clip. If they got into another accident and died it would probably be easier then the S**t they were going through right now.
"Oh S**t!" Layton shouted stomping on the breaks.
"What is it?" James said following Laytons gaze to the front of the jeep.
A blond girl was limping across the street, the only hint that she wasn't infected was the fear in her eyes.
"Help me" she cried.
James was at her side in the matter of seconds putting one arm around her and guiding her back to the vehicle.
"let me see your leg" he told her as soon as they were safely in the backseat. The girl only nodded.
James let out a sigh of relief seeing that it was only a shard of glass.
"What's you name?" He asked
"Sienna" She whispered
"Okay, Sienna this is going to sting for only a second so I'm going to need you to brace yourself."
Sienna screamed as James pulled the shard out. He ripped the sleeve of his shirt using it as a bandage for her leg.
"I'm James" he smiled "we're going to get out of here"
"Thank you" she smiled.
Sienna must have been no older then sixteen or so but she was showing more bravery then a girl her age should....like Rebecca.

Resident Evil Aftermath

Rebecca cringed at the pain, holding her wound with her left hand and slowly tucking her right into her waistband making sure that the little black book she had stolen from Reston was still there. She slowly smiled and opened her eyes at sound of the engine start up and knew that everything would be alright and this mission would end well. She slowly looked up at David’s tired but joyful face finally letting out the breath she had kept in so long since the whole mission had started. She was laying her head in David’s lap while Claire sat in the passenger’s seat and Jon in the back, but she couldn’t bring her eyes to rest on Leon for she had already closed them knowing that he was in the driver’s seat.
Rebecca smiled one more time before feeling a cold damp hand on her face. She slowly opened her eyes one last time seeing Claire looking back at her smiling.
“It will all be okay” she whispered sliding her hand down her cheek.
They think they’re happy now. Wait until they see the book she thought to herself knowing that it was okay to rest now.
“Out of the cold and into a nice warm van isn’t this nice?” She whispered “It’s warm and we don’t have to worry about freezing to death.”
David laughed a little, Rebecca hearing the slight worry in his voice.
“All we need now is some smores and I’m good” Jon laughed from the back. Everyone started to laugh. Rebecca managed to laugh a little knowing that the slightest movement would make her wound hurt. That was Jon always making jokes.
These people are my family now and I love them so much. Rebecca slowly drifted off into a deep sleep not knowing what was in store for them next……
***********
“I’m trying to lose them!”
Rebecca opened her eyes in shock hearing Leon screaming from the front of the van. Rebecca quickly lifted her head in confusion as she saw David’s worried face. He turned toward her and then quickly turned his attention to the sliding door. It was open and she noticed that he had his 9mm in hand. He jumped toward the opening turning his gaze toward the sky and quickly aiming his gun, pulling the trigger. The sound of gunfire overwhelmed her ears and the realization of what was happening hit her
It’s wasn’t over, not yet because they were being chased by none other then an Umbrella chopper.
“That handgun isn’t going to work! That B*****d probably called in scouts! ” Jon yelled
“Everybody down!” David yelled and Rebecca didn't hesitate feeling David’s strong arms cover her head as machine gun fire filled the van.
“S**t!” Leon screamed as the van began to lurch to the side. Rebecca knew that this may be the end of the family she was so close to as she felt herself slip. The blur of the van tumbling around her blended into darkness.
I love this game. Especially Balthier who is just THE coolest male character ever. Its the accent I think. Oh and the fact hes a bit badass..and slightly smarmy too actually.. He kinda reminds me of a lad I know actually but whatever. The only bad thing about this game is that darn Vaan character. He is just soo whiny and not my idea of a hero but oh well. I say Balthier is the main character anyhow. But then Im a little fangirly for him On reflection thats perhaps a bit weird but I dont care!
Balthier does have that cool about him that makes him so smooth.
