I actually said the exact opposite in the thread you made about the limited number of moderators. I told you then that we didn't need more because of the lack of activity, and said it a few times. As Spartan points out, it takes time to build up activity and as he also pointed out we both are on numerous times throughout the day and night. Him more in the night, me more during the day. We happen to be at the disadvantage of the site being poorly run for a while and hackers had a hayday wreaking havoc with no one able to fix the problems because the admins had disappeared. As for your joining in 2007, I did in August of 2007 and the place was dead. Only one person ever came on a girl, I'm thinking her name was REFan but I could be wrong, and that was quite infrequently. I stayed however and was able to convince a few who joined, like Spartan that the site was worth staying for because it really is a nice place. It was just poorly run in the past. Another disadvantage this site has it that there are already many RE boards out there and were when it was made. The problem with those sites is that they don't do much to protect their members from trolls and idiots. From the ones I've looked at they allow members to make fun of other members, allow members to troll and flame people with little or no recourse. The sad thing is it is those types of sites that are most popular. I blame it on the lack of parenting. Parents don't raise their children any longer to be good and productive members of society. They leave them to their own devices because they are more concerned with their own lives than the life they created. This lack of parenting has produced an internet full of trolls and idiots that have nothing better to do than to aggravate others. Personally, I'd rather belong to a site that had very few members and didn't have the activity of the big boards if it means I don't have to put up with that kind of garbage.

Lol. You're kind of late on this speech. I already I'd stay because I see that point. It's better to be with a few good nice people than stuck up or those trolls as you put it.

True. And that's part of what makes this site so awesome.

Well, "trolling" as it's called isn't necessarily a bad thing. Before I joined this site, I lingered about for a few days to gauge how the members acted toward each other, which is considered a type of trolling.
And looking back, Ashe was actually the only member that replied to my introduction post... XD

But I did say awesome a bit much...

I saw that you had decided to stay, but the reasons I gave weren't mentioned and I felt they needed mentioned in the event of a perspective member possibly seeing the post and deciding whether they want to join or not. I know when I am thinking about joining a site, I always keep an eye on it for a while first before joining to see how the members act and how the people who run the sites act. I want to see that members are polite and respectful and that the admins actually care about their members and handle any problems that may arise quickly.

And you two have been doing quite well since Ryan made you main Administrator. What's his last name anyways?

And you two have been doing quite well since Ryan made you main Administrator. What's his last name anyways? Thank you. I don't know what it is, but even if I did, I'd never release it. That would be a huge invasion of privacy without his permission. Plus it would be a security issue. I know I would be angrier than a scalded cat should an administrator at a site I belonged to gave out my real name. I never release that online for security reasons, I have kids and there are way to many freaks out there.

Ah. I understand. This seems kind of off topic but how do you make these Sites? I seriously have dreamed of owning one of these myself.

It's very easy, and not that hard, if I can do it anyone can because I am mostly computer dumb. What I know I've taught myself, we didn't have computers when I was in school... First you have to find the type of forum software that you want to use. Some are better than others. Personally I hate Proboards. It is the type of software that is a hackers dream from what I've heard. It is very easily hacked. I've used a few different types, Invisionfree, Zetaboards, and IPB (I just discovered this one the other week). Of all three of those, I think I like IPB the best. Then you simply think of a name for the forum and register it. Then you create the board. It's very easy. If you find a host and wish to make one, let me know and I'll help as much as I can. I'm not good with coding, but I can set up a forum pretty easily.

Which one would you personally recommend? The one you would know would work best and with least hackings.
