That might actually be what it's called. Who knows. At least until Capcom officially names it.

True. The next RE game is where they'll probably announce what it is.

True. The next RE game is where they'll probably announce what it is. Assuming RE6 isn't a complete reboot like it's rumored to be.

*Shrugs* You got me. I just hope they switch back to the original zombies. They completely just offed with the series.

*Shrugs* You got me. I just hope they switch back to the original zombies. They completely just offed with the series. I'd personally be happy with a compromise between ganados/majini and T-virus zombie, perhaps something like the RAGE zombies from 28 Days/Weeks Later.

Yeah that would be pretty cool. Just something to bring the Zombies back. I mean they talk about Umbrella and the Zombies and other T and G creations in the newer games but they don't actually have them in it.

"Shortly before leaving with the S.T.A.R.S Alpha team, Birkin gave Wesker a syringe containing a virus. After using it to fake his death at the hands of the T-002 Tyrant, he escaped the building, coming across Lisa Trevor on his way out.
There are many similarities between Wesker's infection, Lisa's primitive G-strain, and the finished virus. Both Wesker's and Lisa's strains do not cause severe random mutations as is seen with Birkin's strain, and neither do they cause any drop in intelligence. Although thought to have caused her madness by fans, Lisa's development of mental illness was due to trauma and other viral injections. "
Well I guess they were just comparing the virus', oops, lol.

No you are right Tvirus and so is that Wiki (Amazingly that Wiki unlike many is pretty accurate). T-001 Tyrant was the Tyrant for Resident Evil Zero. For Resident Evil (original) T-002 Tyrant was the Tyrant ingame. And since T-001 was stopped for T-002 it would make perfect sense that Wesker would use the latest version of the virus. He'd not have used a version that was deemed outdated.

I do know for sure, I played it just the other day. Look at any site for RE and you will find that the T-001 Tyrant is from RE0, and the T-002 Tyrant is from the first RE. And since that is when Wesker first injects himself, it makes perfect sense that it's the T-002 version he used.
