I have no highlight - well other than reading my book which is very interesting. Well if you like Tony Curtis it is I guess otherwise it's probably a bit boring.
Seriously.. I considered smacking my flatmates heads in with the fire extinguisher this morning. I'm following my mothers advice of not cleaning the kitchen and leaving it for them.I got the whole "Victoria.. they are taking the mickey. They know you will do it so leave it all for you to do" lecture. And I decided she is right. They are taking the darn mickey. Exams and revision is not an excuse not to clean your darn house. I'm sorry but its really not. I have a workload the size of Mount Everest and I still make the time for basic hygiene. So I'm leaving it - I have the feeling it won't get done though but oh well.Seriously you guys probably think I'm very anal about it or whatever.. but I'm really not. I'm just used to people displaying common courtesy is all. Its really bad manners not to clean up after yourself when you share a house irrespective of whether you're a student or not. My flatmates actually used that as an excuse to be messy.. I was like maybe in Greece/Canada/Italy it is buddy but you're in the U.K. now. Get cleaning. We do things properly here. Wow.. I feel much better for ranting - even if it is the same thing Im ranting about every darn day! My stress levels are seriously peaking on the standards of a very high thing!

Highlight: Unlocked a lot of characters on DBZ: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, and FINALLY finished reading the Twilight book "New Moon". It was a fun read, and now I have to get Eclipse.

I dunno.. but my flatmates are of those three nationalities so.. yeah I had some major issues that day huh? I read it back and was like Vee...chill out girl. Still I dunno.. its not better I have resolved to leaving a post it note on the door of the kitchen, by the oven, on the microwave.. telling them 2Clean it because I wont". But it has gotten me nowwhere. Ah well..They can live like rats if they like I don't care anymore.. I'll be home with nice clean people in May so.. Highlight for today - I found Party Rings! Wow.Not sure if you guys get them in the U.S. but they are just these little biscuits with icing on the top that my sister and I always ate at our birthday parties. I haven't seen them in years. But probably should not have eaten the whole packet in one go. Not bright.

Highlight - I wrote 2000 more words of my dissertation. Yay brings my total up to 9000 for now. Only another 10 thousand or so to go. Bad thing : I applied to law school back in November and arranged for a reference from my lecturer. I received an email from my first choice school requesting the reference.. now I thought that was a bit weird as my referee is quite efficient with stuff like that.Anyhow I spoke to him - gave the email they requested it be sent to and he said he would do one. I haven't heard back from the school to say it hasn't been done so I assume they have received it. Anyhow - I got the impresion that the BVC ( who you supply the application to) had never contacted him about it - requesting a reference. And today they emailed me telling me to "be advised it hasn't being submitted". So I'm annoyed. I paid these people 40 pounds to read an application and they can't even request a reference and tell me about it a week before acceptances go out. Meaning that if I don't get this reference thing sorted by then my application/acceptance process can suffer.Ugh.. surely they could have told me a month after the deadline at the beginning of February instead of the end of the month , one week before acceptances are sent out. If this messes up my chances of getting to law school this year they will know about it from me. EDIT : I just realised that acceptances begin to go out on Monday.. so essentially they have told me they haven't got the required reference on the last working day before acceptances go out. Bad form if you ask me.

^ No need to worry - guess my application without the reference spoke for itself - at least to Northumbria University who accepted me - even though they don't usually accept those who don't put them as a first choice. Which made me smile - its nice to hear that somebody thinks you sound worthwhile. Leeds rejected me - but they are a tough school so... waiting to hear back from Manchester but due to the really nice words I got from Northumbria in their acceptance email I'm seriously reconsidering attending their university instead. Newcastle is not so far from my parents house that I can't go back once a month to say hi So yeah a really nice highlight for me today - considering I thought I wouldn't get accepted anywhere...as I haven't done many legal extra curricular activities during my time at university.
