Just played a fairly long round of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. I forgot how much that one makes me want to throw my GameCube out the window... I have that game, but never got beyond the first scenes.... I couldn't do the jumps... I never did finish it. I just couldn't get into it. Really? I find the story quite intreging....but then again I am a Vincent fan.

I still haven't finished with FFVII yet either... Maybe that is why I didn't get into it to well.

I've heard that rumor, too. Though I've never played the game. Final Fantasy isn't my block of cheese.

It most likely is just that, a rumor. They could remake it I suppose, a lot of the FF games have been redone, and this one is hugely popular so tis possible.
Yea I never finished it. My save file got corrupted and I haven't found the heart to start it all over.... It was good, but unlike the masses, I don't find it the best one. For me the best FF game shall always be the first one.

But I do like the way they changed the battle system in the newer games. The way the older system was I got bored when I was trying to level up. which is one of the reasons I never finished the games. I have VII, VIII and IX (9) and Tactics. But what makes me sad is I've never completed a video game.....

I've played all the FF and have FF1, 2 and Mystic Quest (for the Super Nintendo), FF1, 2, 5 ,6, & Tactics Advance (for the Gameboy Advance), Final Fantasy Adventure, Final Fantasy 1 & 2 (for the Gameboy), Final Fantasy 7, 8, & 9 (For the Playstation) and Final Fantasy X, X-2, and XII for the Playstation 2. I guess you could say I'm a Final Fantasy nut... I love the games. The only ones I've not beat are the ones for the Gameboy and 7 and 9 for the Playstion. Oh and I've not beat FFVI Advance yet... But I'm real close. I need to level up the rest of my people because I believe the final dungeon you need to use all the characters.... and I've neglected some of them. I too like the new way they've made encounters happen. It is so much easier when trying to farm a specific item as you can tell what the critter is before you engage it. I don't mind the random encounters to much though. What I generally do is mute the game and put an audio book on. Gone With The Wind and Scarlett are 2 of my favorite audio books that I love to play FF games to.

MGS and MGS3: Snake Eater are great games. MGS2 isn't so much. Neither was four. Four was definitely better than Two, IMO. Yes definetly, it still remained a stealth game, but it made it new with the new shooting system etc. I think it's a much better game than 2 and 3, also 3 still remains one that I can play on numerous playthroughs.

I loved the new shooting camera and controls, too. It really put you into the firefight, having you look over Snake's shoulder and down the barrel of the gun. I had a few gripes, too, but nothing that spoiled the game, though. 1. I absolutely hate the M320 grenade launcher on the M4. It just looks awful to me. I prefer the older M203, personally. More streamlined, IMO. 2. I didn't particularly like the old incarnation of Solid Snake.

Use lethal force on their beast forms, then non-lethal force on their beauty forms (I don't like killing them; in fact, I never liked killing the female bosses in any of the MGS games).

And I don't own many....But hey that doesn't stop me. And Spartan if you and Leon are talking about Metal Gear I think the games pretty cool though I've never played it nor probably ever will (I like to watch with that one) I don't like how old Snake is....they kinda killed it....

Yeah, we're talking about Metal Gear Solid. And my sister prefers to watch that one rather than play it, too. She bought MGS2: Substance for her XBox, but every time she played it, she'd go up to a certain point she didn't like, save it, then start another game. She'd do that over and over and over again and wouldn't even try to get past it. And she always griped at my parents because I refused to beat the part for her. I don't mind helping someone with a game, but I sure as heck won't beat the game for them. Especially when the person is one that will try to take all the credit for it, like said sister did for GTA: Vice City...

That's the spirit. With FF games the fun is in getting there. I've found that many of the end bosses are very easy to beat and are not very challenging. The challenge usually comes in form of the sidequests or optional bosses.
